    I smacked skids a lot too so you’re not alone. I got the truck cleaned off today and inspected it. My stock skids definitely took a beating. And the paint has rubbed off of the bump outs on my sliders. But all in all it’s still in good shape.

    i saw some skid wear and one new ding on a slider kick out. so far so good!

    my stock skids took a beating lol. i have an OEM gas skid in my garage

    Edit: I put some good marks on my new wheels too :burnrubber:

    Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
    Sitting in the muffler shop looking at my truck up on the rack this morning I thought, at least it was a black trail,,,,,

    One of the guys that detailed my truck was in there with me. I think he was genuinely pissed at how dirty the inside was.
    He said wtf did you do?
    We just cleaned that truck.

    He went ahead and made me another appointment....

    Ordered a tire from walmart.com for $251, when it came in and they reimbursed me at the store they gave me $263 back. Somehow I made money popping my tire and gained tread lol.

    If I’m thinking about things right this would help to center my steering wheel and allow the tie rods to be somewhat similarly adjusted?
    Also I’m thinking that all that would affected is I’d lose a little turning radius to either left or right depending on which way I adjusted the splines?

    Easiest way to do it would be position the wheels to where theyre both as straight forward as possible. Then unhook the steering linkage from the rack and adjust the steering wheel to where it is straight as well. Hook the linkage back up and have a shop do an actual alignment
