I'm very behind on photos...and I didn't take many. I blame my short time there combined with beer. One time I swear I'm going to ride with someone & take photos.

That was really the only time I took photos. The rest of the time I was driving.

Plus it took about 1 hour to get up that hill so I had about a million photos because it took him so damn long. Lol.

So, did you go to Rush?
I can't go this weekend sadly. Girl just got a new apartment and I'm helping move.

50/50 on if we're going this weekend. I'm the only truck, the rest are SxS's, so i might bow out and go camping instead.

I'm also fighting a clutch issue.... Luckily nothing is necessarily degrading, but the clutch is squealing when the pedal is to the floor. It's not the TOB, it's the metal washer/ring/adapter in the URD pressure plate.

Are you sure it's the pressure plate? Not the pilot or input shaft bearing(s)?
I dunno what the washer/ring/adapter part is :notsure:

3rd gens don't have a pilot and by the sound, i'm sure it's not anything inbound.

    Check it:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/4KvxN44gkDcv5Fc66 -> Video of me moving it around replicating the sound i hear when my clutch is to the floor.
    Cv-83O99rQ9A9oxrTJjJAzM69jEvzjsYaOO3EH7b_7b7da2fcdc78a75d4b5d477c0b0b58cc4ae9cfe0.jpg

URD says the adapter ring/washer in the center has too much play in it and shouldn't spin like that under load from the TOB. It's also inconsistent. There was a small amount of metal shavings in the housing from that thing spinning unbalanced.
I don't expect anything to catastrophically fail on me anytime soon. But when they send this new bit to put behind the washer to hold it centered, i expect the issue to go away.

Sooooo now i gotta drop the transmission a third time to install that new bit they're sending me. That'll be novembers project

URD said i'm the second person ever to report the issue... Just my luck!

Hmmm, that's just weird. But I'm sure other's don't have pilots as well.

Good luck man! I know from doing it once sucked ass, can't imagine 3x in such a short time!

Newish to KY. Been out of off roading since I moved here from CA a year ago and left my truck out west for when I go back for king of the hammers. Any insight on if the ULTRA 4 even in April is spectator friendly if I only have a stock daily driver Silverado 4x4? Just to go out there for the weekend. Or any other events at Rush? Being cooped up with no off-roading out here has been painful.

Wouldn’t recommend a stock Silverado at Rush. If you come to an event with us there’s always someone you can ride with.

What about tent/car camping out there? I put in for PTO the Friday and Monday around that weekend and was thinking of possibly renting a SxS.

The Silverado wouldn't be to do any wheeling, more for cruising around if it's a spectator kind of event. I really have no idea what I would be getting myself into, I've only ever done desert camping and wheeling.

Really no room to cruise around for spectating at events that are put on at any offroad park here on the East Coast. If you want something to cruise around on a small "Pitbike" or something of that nature is all you would need. Most the spectating on something like that is walking distance.

Now for the stuff we do on long weekends, a ground tent/car tent would be fine, then just ride with someone of you don't have a rig.
