It is delicious! Just not that hill lol

Oh! I finally got around to testing the welder last night, before spending 2 hours grinding mill scale off angle for my tool box brackets. If you have a small AC welder, definitely do the DC bridge rectifier mod! @rdpoe @JohnnyRed Much less splatter and better penetration, weld was flatter, not just 'laying' on the steel. Of course, this was tested on a piece of scrap square tube, didn't try to join anything together.
I've got a little beveling to do on the corners where the 2 pieces join, but I'll start burning them in tonight. Hopefully have enough time to drill the mounting holes after.

Peanut butter hill was fine for the 'ol dirty fives, it was the damn tree root afterward that I broke half of off in my bead that wasn't. Thankfully we were able to get that back on "good enough" without starter fluid

Speaking of, where the hell is the video of us using starter fluid to rebead my tire at this meet? How can my pooping in the woods lesson be posted, but not the one featuring fire and explosions?

The debead where I actually had to take the tire off the truck and then wheel down to camp on 3 of my tires and presta's baby spare was a different occasion than the peanut butter hill tree deciding it wanted to take up residence in my tire. The latter was just a 15 minute stop on the trail where I dug as much out as I could with a screwdriver then blasted it with the compressor and continued on.
