You are lucky. OR and Pro have them. Deeds said about switch for it. I looked at mine to make sure but I don't have it. I have something like TRAC / LSD something like that.

Maybe someday I will get either OR or Pro in the future unless I get a Camry.. Who knows.

Factory locker on mine. Also, finished welding the sliders together. Now I just have to prep, paint, and glue them to the frame.

Based on the sounds of your offroad experience, I wouldnt make a locker a priority. Those of us who do have them dont use them that much.

I haven't been to off roading myself but I rode in one with a friend of mine who had lifted 4x4 truck that he had the switch on the front wheels (you know what I mean) what was about 30 years ago. I have been using cars and 2 wheel drive trucks before I got this 4x4 Tacoma that I have now. Which means I am new to this new 4x4 technology, I mean 4H, 4L, you know... I have been looking at off road trails on YouTube (such as Moab, Colorado, etc.) since I got Tacoma in 2018 and that got me hooked. Which is why I am interested in going to Rush to meet you guys and learn more about this stuff. Once I have learned from you guys, I will plan to go on a trip out to west for off roading someday, but I don't want to go myself because I don't want to get stuck. If I go out to west by myself, then I drive around and camping, not off road unless I find someone to go with that we have the recovery stuff handy.

I plan to get winch, bumpers, all that stuff, but it could be awhile before I get all done. If I win lottery, I can have those parts done right away, I wish.. lol

Yes but there could be muddy in some spots which it could be deep. If dry, then it's easy unless there are rocky in some areas. At the end of video, looks like he got stuck and first truck backed up to help.

Nothing about 4x4 technology has changed except that the transfer case is electronic now- so you dont have to lock the hubs anymore (the "switch on the front wheels".) Trucks still had 4H (high range) and 4L (low range) back then. There was usually a second smaller stick to shift into low range, at least thats how it was in our 89 F150.

Guys just stop fretting about this shit and show up at the meet and be willing to learn. Seriously, I wheeled a stock 3rd gen for almost a year, its gonna be fine. When I didnt know how to get through an obstacle someone helped. Youll get stuck, people will help, we'll all move on knowing a little bit more.

At this point I’d love to have some rain. It’s dryer than a 90 year old cooter at my house.

No room for all 3 in the taco. My youngest is 2, my 6 yr old son has autism and my 8 yr old wouldn't survive without wifi....sounds like a miserable time to me lol
