Looks like rain in the forecast for Saturday. Could make the trails a soupy mess.

It's supposed to be bad all day I believe.

Should we do a rain day on Sunday or is that too short of a notice for everyone?

Sunday may work for me as i was planning on wheeling after but it is what it is. I can switch with someone at work probably. The important part is just getting the toys for the kids.

Sunday does look to be better weather though for the occasion.

Sunday works for me. @Unchained 5150 does Sunday work for us if we push it off a day?

Sunday would be better for me, but that being said...

The truck developed a fairly bad belt noise earlier this week. Got worse yesterday. Today it became borderline unbearable. Need to replace the serpentine belt and roller before driving out to eastern CT, just don't think it's smart to take the chance of having it let go on the way or way back (and especially not on the trail). If I can make it happen by Saturday it'll be a miracle, and the only instance in which I can swing the trek out there for the meetup/run this weekend.

If I can't make it I'll be bummed but in the grand scheme of 2020, it's not that big of a deal. Will donate some toys to the local Toys 4 Tots drive if that's the case.

Guy's, sorry about that. I'm going to have to keep it in Saturday. I have to work on Sunday and it's to much to do it the same day.

If anyone new is skeptical this is stock friendly. I did it with my brand new pro last year and there were a few other guys there with stock as well. Very minor pinstripes and a pretty good gouge in the skid plate but that’s what it’s for....

Bump for a great cause. If you're already coming then please tell a friend. This is not about Tacomas, anyone can participate! This is all about getting toys for kids in need.

He is very right. I made it through with street tires and stock suspension, no bash plates or anything. Its super stock friendly and fun at the same time. There is a go around for every “hard” spot as well. And the sand pit is really where you can test your capability at your own pace.

Sooo.it looks like I will be there for the meet but maybe not for the wheeling part.....we shall see. My truck just failed inspection with a big fat red R. Looks like I need new wheel bearings and possibly new tie rods.....
