4th Gen Bronze Oxide Thread

First dirt road of many to come as the new truck got pack mule duty for a late winter hiking jaunt here in the woods of PA.

 

Does anyone have a set of Gun Metal Gray wheels on a Bronze Oxide truck? My truck is being delivered soon hopefully, and I'm going with SCS Blaze 10s. The bronze on bronze might be a bit too much bronze for me. Hoping to see if someone else's GMG on bronze looks good.

 

Most bronze wheels are not even close to the same bronze as the bronze oxide. So there will be contrast. Look at all the stock trailhunter trims.

 

Yeah, I've seen quite a few, along with some bronze Blaze 10s on a BO Trailhunter on the SCS wheel pic page. It looks good but I'm not completely sold on it. I'm hoping to see some gun metal gray on bronze before I make the decision. I know I tend to have a preference toward a more subtle appearance than most on here. I'm a big fan of the gray wheels on all other colors, just have never seen them on this one.

 

Is this in Jersey??

 

This is my baby!!!! I picked her up Dec 2nd. I was going to get the Underground, but when I saw the Bronze Oxide side by side with the Underground, there was no comparison. And I get lots of comments on the color.Everyone loves the Bronze Oxide color

where did you find that TRD decal for the bed?

 

Part of the Bronze club now! Picked up mine yesterday and already took off the dealers sticker on the tailgate and the TRD Off Road decals on the end of both bed sides. Will be adding the hood struts to replace the prop rod later today. Then will install the bed step once it arrives on Friday.

That thing is hot. I am on the fence about getting a 4th gen sometime in the next year or so and man bronze oxide is growing on me.

 

Well, Friday night had a rogue deer decided it wanted to ram into the side of my new truck. Hit right at front wheel and spun around pushing in the front fender and caving in driver door. Then proceeded under the truck and the trailer I was towing. I guess I will see how well a body shop can match the bronze oxide paint??

It's finally here after 4 month wait. Pick it up tomorrow.

 

Congrats! Still happy with the color but sometimes there seems to be a hint of green in the color.
It's a special color, that's for sure.

 

Yeah depending on the lighting. Look at my photos that has different shades.
