I love birds as much as the next guy, but yeah, we needed this here in the 4G Silver thread! I'd share more pics of mine, but just kinda in limbo until the wheels are off of back order.

 

The more I look at your tires, the more I like the white lettering. I think I like them better than the red lettering of the General tires.

On topic while entertaining the bird watching side track.

Location: Samish Flats near Burlington WA.
Known for winter nesting of short eared owls, northern harriers, and year round population of bald eagles.

 

I second this. The white lettering has a classic look and feel to it.

 

So to keep on topic, I bought a bumper to go along with my hidden winch plate. Has not arrived yet. I’ll post some pics when installed.

And on the side topic of birds…is this a common sparrow or something else:

Are those considered “gunmetal” or a different color? They look fantastic on the silver.

 

Gloss titanium is what method calls it...Yes it looks awesome with the silver! Even better in person.

 

I like that combo. Wheels and Rokblokz. Need some KO3’s with white letters.

 

Lol. I have KO2s on my truck at work. I hate how they hold and throw rocks. If it was white I'd have the letters out. Or if the wheels were black. But with the titanium wheels, I think it'd be too much...

What was the relative humidity? Air quality index? Barometric pressure?!?!

Jealous! My 705 Methods are on back order until mid-April. Which probably means May. Haha. Also went with the titanium and +35 offset. I think that is the color combo for the silver. The +35 looks about perfect as well. Well done! Looks great!

I've always gone with black wheels with silver. But this time I did a ton of research, looked at shitload of pictures and decided to pull the trigger on the Gloss Titanium. The wheels look sooo good with Silver. Yes +35 is great if you don't want a lot of poke. FYI I don't think the 705 comes in Gloss Titanium. I think they're a matte finish, I don't know how much the color varies. If you want gloss titanium look at the 316, 703 and 714.

 

I’m glad to see that black isn’t the default wheel color anymore on these trucks. I think the silver works so well with other colors and black just got kinda boring

 

Yeah. They just call it “titanium” instead of gloss titanium. Which is fine with me. I just really like the wheel and a matte finish is fine by me. Thanks for the info! Appreciate it.

 

I forgot to post here…I installed a new bumper and some lights. I also changed out the fairlead as the other one I pulled off my Jeep and I didn’t really like it on the Taco.

I am not sure I like the grill/raptor lights. And I end to get an amber lens cover for the light bar. I also don’t have a pic but I added the amber film to the fog lights from Taco Vinyl.
