I had ~600 pounds of dirt in bags on end of my bed, enclosed by the tonneau cover. Delivered to grandma's house around lunch to fill in, and smooth out some holes. Prior to that delivery I did some birding at my favorite spot. Here is my truck with a little rear squat. Mostly just leveled it some in this photo. Oh, and here's some Black-bellied Whistling ducks. I'm waiting on their eggs to hatch.

 

Crispy, your truck is always shiny! Every time I wash mine, it gets dirty. lol

BTW, I have been hauling lumber over the last week or two. Somehow, I can get 8ft boards in the 5ft bed! Been building a new shed in backyard.

 

It's actually kinda dirty. Mostly dust and pollen. It benefits from being garage kept but I haven't washed it since I got the wheels. No rain since either. That is expected to change this weekend.

This is my soon to be beauty. Due to the most recent safety recall putting a stop-sale on it (found out right as I was going to sign my life away lol), I’ll take official possession end of May

 

I’m surprised there’s a stop sale. Any idea when it was built?

 

@CrispyTacoLover, no I failed to snap a picture of the VIN sticker before I left. Was in awe of the looks lol. Poor salesman felt terrible about it.

 

I read/heard/was told the stop sale was only on the 2024's. It appears some 2025's are affected, too. Anyone know the whole story?

I have a deposit on a silver one that was built this past Wednesday. I'm assuming current production has the new part installed on the assembly line (or hoping).

 

I hope they aren’t building trucks just to sit on a dealers lot. That sounds fishy.

 

That's my thoughts, too. In my search, I've had salesmen tell me the '25's aren't affected, and salesmen at other dealerships tell me they can't sell the 2025 that's on their website because of the recall, so there must be a point in production where they began building them with the upgraded parts.

 

Someone needs to find one with the fix and take pictures.

 

I thought someone had posted pictures of their 2025 with the new part(s).
