4th gen Ice Cap thread

I would agree it makes the color. I really hated the Sport wheels with the bits of brushed silver. I tried covering it with vinyl and it just did not hold up to my OCD. I had to then find a all black wheel. Super pleased.

 

I will try to think of everything I have done so far. Blacked out the front emblem, Painted the tow hooks red, Afe panel filter, Black steering wheel emblem overlay, Rav4 radio knob, removed warning stickers on the visors, Husky X act contour floor mats for the manual transmission, console organizer and cover, Protech screen protectors, Black exhaust tip, TRD rep wheels believe they are the same as a Tundra TRD sport pattern, 285 70 17 open country AT3, Trd center cap stickers not shown in this pic, Took off stock ppf by rear fender and applied new that goes about 8" higher, 5 year fenyl lab ceramic coat, Afe intake and exhaust will be the next items.

 

24’ Pre-Runner (two door)

 

I think this is the first pre runner I’ve seen. Looks badass! I’ve always loved the two door looks, and I really wanted a pre runner initially, and it would have been my choice if we didn’t have our son, but alas, we ultimately needed the four doors. How do you like it?

 

The proportions of the two door feels more nimbl. I really like it for off-road and curb hopping with ease. Reminds me of my old VW Baja..!

 

I was in the white 2nd gen club, and now I'm in the white 4th gen club. Dee-hee-hee-cent!

 

I want them rear red hooks I am hoping someone makes a bit of a cheaper version

 

I'm sure someone will. I'll driving it bone stock until companies make as much stuff as there are for the 2nd and 3rd gen like an ARB bumper and whatnot.

 

That's going to be a while.....

 

works for me, get it right. I had my 2nd gen for ten years. I plan to keep this one the same amount of time.

Yep…I went to get an oil change on my 2021
Super White 4X2 long bed and rode home in a 2024 OR long bed. What a difference!

 

I was thinking it looked particularly ice cap on an earlier fall full moon evening so snapped this shot.

So far no regrets with my purchase. I went back to a pickup truck with some reluctance but the long bed TRD OR suits my work needs and real estate related project same time it supports the backcountry sports I do.

 

I’ve been driving Tacomas since 1982. This 2024 is the best since an early 2000s X-Runner.
