^Probably depends on year and region (with distributor add-ons). From the factory, the TRD Pros come off the boat with steel wheels. The roof rack, alloy wheels, and badging are added at port in the US. Some purists on 4Runners.com look down on the TRD Pro because it isn't entirely made in Japan:

Before 2017, the tailgate didn't have a Pro badge:

Saw a gorgeous metallic red one yesterday, but looking at the white ones I feel like Star Wars troopers might jumping out any second. Loving my 22....05 (new intro yr) not so, too many issues (got new and had 17yrs ) and repairs. Hope 24 has it together better as a new model intro.

well finally sat and test drove the new Tacoma. I really like the changes they've made. Almost traded in my 2020, but I need more rear space, so 4runner incoming.

thankfully my local dealership is not doing markups!

TRDOR with the 14" screen + long bed. The rake was very noticeable on the long bed.. although I didn't have a stock short bed to compare to

I never thought that color should go on a pickup. But, the pics people have submitted have changed my mind. Something about the combo of stuff just seems to work.

I think this color looks best on the OR model. The fender flares really compliment the color.

Currently have a manual and thinking about an OR gen 4. Were you able to drive one? How did it compare to to a gen 3?

1st seemed like it needed less clutch slip to get moving due to lower gearing. Granted it’s been a while since I’ve tested a 3rd gen manual.

Low end feels so much better, where the 3rd gen felt like a heavy truck due to the lack of torque down low the 4th gen feels a lot better. The manual transmission itself is very similar. I’d say it’s worth you finding one to test drive if you truly want to trade up, but the 3rd gen is still a good truck.
