I think the 24 has potential. I have moved from a Tacoma to Tundra (2018 and now 2022), but the kids are now out of the house and 99% of the time it is just me in the truck. I am strongly considering downsizing to a 2024 Tacoma.
I saw this pic today. Not bad looking. I would just go with smaller wheel and more sidewall, same overall dia.

Once they are on the road and seen in person and have armored bumpers etc. people will be on here, as it always happens, saying "I changed my mind".... etc.

How you like the tundra, that maybe my next move with our first on the way, but quality control and issues have me second guessing.

So we have the power steps and a high mount air intake on a pro....guess those will be options.

I like the paint color but those shiny black fender flares are :puke:

Also never saw a need for steps on a Tacoma. It’s not that high.

Sure would be nice to have a configurator to see what is optional. Oh, and prices…

Agreed on the flares, although I think it looks better here... I feel sick now.

As for the steps, I have an Asian wife and a small kid lol. I like the retractable steps, better than the predators I have to have now.

@TacoBuffet , I love the Tundra. I had a 2018 for 5 years, 126,000 miles with zero issues, and now the 2022 for a year and 30,000 miles, also zero issues. There is one recall for the fuel line, but that's not nearly as big a deal as some people make it. I have a SR5 so not a whole lot of bells & whistles, but everything I need.
I love the size. The rear seats have so much room; perfect vehicle for a growing family.

The only reason I would consider going back to a Tacoma is because I am alone in the truck 99% of the time so it feels like a waste. I am 6'4" and the previous (current) Tacoma is a bit small for me. It looks like the 2024 will have better seat position and more headroom.

Those rear seats are super high up with the hybrid batteries underneath. Blocks a lot of that rear window (14:30 in the vid)

Something I could used to for sure, but I if I decide to buy one it would probably be a cheaper non-hybrid anyways.

Still have to wait on the test drive vids to go up first.

That green Trailhunter had a big "X" over one of the emissions decals under the hood, so not quite yet time for those videos.

That looks nice. Everything but the front air dam.

My Toro lawn mower seat sits on a platform that has shocks. It’s great!

As a guy who spent 5 hours in the saddle of an old Kubota on Sunday, I agree lol.
