Having had the Full-time 4WD in our 4Runner Limited, and now in the GX 460's, I can say it is a really nice feature. You just drive it and don't worry about switching in and out of 4WD. And it still has all the regular 4WD capabilities if you need them.

Our driveway has a hill leading up the attached garage. We came home one day last week and our driveway was covered in snow and ice. I told my wife I would probably need to lock the center differential to get up the hill. My wife said "I think it will make it", and she drove right up it with no wheelspin at all.

 

Looks like he removed the full-time 4WD wording from his post. Makes me wonder if it's a true customer delivery or just real-world QC testing going on.

 

Wasn't Bronze Oxide also delayed on production trucks?

 

I thought I hears something about paint problems but nothing backing it up. While I think the bronze is awesome color I don't think I have seen a ton of people saying that they were getting it. I think I have seen more wanting ice cap.

 

Based on a post on tacoma 4g, they guy works for Toyota as a vehicle product training administrator. Wondering if that is the person who goes around and trains all the sales reps on new products and it that his demo unit.

absolutely agree.....give it a few weeks and these first units will be in the hands of legit owners and we will start seeing info trickle out......but you on the other hand I think we will never get a review from you.
