4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

Something seems off with that imo . That has never been the case for the off road in canada . Double cab is our Crew cab . We have never had access to a long box DBL cab in canada before , only on the Sport

 

I’ve reached out to multiple dealers and many of them won’t sell to out of state customers. The ones that will won’t take a deposit to reserve. I’m in SoCal and have reached out to Washington/Oregon/Idaho. Kinda crazy I knew it was gonna be hard to find the exact one I like but didn’t think it would be this hard

 

This is me. I prefer the outside of the Colorado, and the inside of the Canyon lol.

New Taco is somewhere in the mix as well though.

 

Be patient. There will be lots full of trucks soon.

 

But hauling our asses and shit around is important, so what we haul it in is important too. Do you need to live in a house? All you do is eat and sleep there. Better off getting a mobile home or really just a tent. Who needs all the luxury amenities in a home?

 

If the 'Murican prices plummet as some expect they will, that Colorado will start to look better and better every day.

...and I think that plunging 'Murican prices is going to create a real problem for Tacoma.

 

There are plenty out here to be reserved just looking for a TRD Off-road without the Upgrade Package. Probably a very rare build in SoCal. They are building them crazy fast though. I think the last I saw like 11K in either Allocation/Build/Freight

 

There's a lot of places with home owners associations where you have to park your vehicle in your garage.

I could never live in such a place as that but my buddy does and he confirmed an F150 raptor fits in the garage before purchasing his condo. And it indeed does fit.

 

It's a sign to wait a year, will probably have issues like the Tundra anyway

 

I hear HOA are the worst . We have strata in Canada , they suck as well lol

 

That’s what I said too. Gives time to get some real world mileage in and see what issues arise

 

A year is better than nothing but I think it takes 2-3 years to fully expose the gremlins of a new generation.

I have zero sympathy for anyone who willingly purchases a home and lives under rules that tell them what they can and cannot do on their property to include how long their guests can stay based on parking. IMO they have no right to complain about it. If you were forced to purchase a house ruled by tyrants that want to tell you what to do with your property you have my sympathy.

 

Same. I would never live in a place with ridiculous rules like that and an association of nosy people.

 

But it's nice when you don't have to worry about this. Your house is an investment and neighbor idiots can ruin it for you.

 

People dont care as long as they can finance them for 12 years.

 

It’s not that hard to not buy next to a house like that or to put up a fence.
