I was thinking the opposite. I hope you're right, though.

I too had a 1990 Honda Accord. I had a Neuspeed short throw adapter on it. I still dream of having that shifter on every manual I've owned since including my STi and C5.

The fun fact is that especially in the CB generation the Honda automatics had more in common with their manual transmission than other automatics of the day. That's why the autos would shift harder than comparable automatics and tended to last longer without issues.

We had two 87s, a manual and auto. Manual was better all day. Loved that car and its raise up headlights.

I'm hoping for minor styling updates...really love the gen3"s. I've had two.

Now that I think about it, my '09 with a radio that wasn't a complete piece of shit would be a pretty awesome mid-size truck, IMHO.

I know he doesn't have true insite but the speculation in this video might add to the conversation. He feels the photo from Brazil could be a access cab being the door is kind of small on the rear. Draw your own conclusions though . David from automotive press

Based on the proportions in the rendering, that's clearly a 5ft bed IMO. Therefore, our logical choices are: (1) they're making an access cab with a larger access door and a 5ft bed, or (2) they're shrinking the size of the rear doors on the double cab slightly.

One of those is more likely than the other. I don't know that I agree with him on the inference he's drawing. There is no market for an access cab with a 5ft bed.

We have 5 ft off road access cabs in Canada I believe.

The OR AC sold in the US market has a 6ft bed. Not sure what is sold in Canada, but I don't see why they'd be different.

If you orient the 2.4L turbo inline with the drive train and not tangentially, I would think the turbo would be easy to access as it would be sitting on the left side of the engine, at the very top. Just pop the hood and there it is. But doing that may create a turbo cooling issue that probably needs to be addressed vs the way they have it in the lexus and Highlander. We'll have to wait and see.

I don't think that would be the case because they would have to make a special frame to fit it, whereas the ACLB and DCSB share the same frame.

I'm sure they have some ducting or plastics to help with airflow cooling.

Love how everyone is theorizing turbo replacements that don’t happen for at least 5 years and 150k miles minimum in an unreleased truck.
Hell if it comes out in 2024 you won’t have to worry about it until 2030 or so … at which point we will all be worm food or rolling in tesla pods

That's not the off road model, probably the 4th gen equivalent of SR5, judging by the all-season tires. The tow hooks may be made standard across the range, like with 4Runners.

The gas pump pics are said to be the off road model, with more visually aggressive tires, though it still retains the airdam.

The Brazilian patent images are renders, i.e. done by artists not engineers. That's why the proportions are off and many frame/suspension features are missing. The purpose of the patent is to secure the rights to the exterior styling.

They wouldn’t be. Because he would have to use a different frame. The only unique frame is used on the double cab 6 foot bed.

If I was planning to be worm food in seven years the last thing I'd be doing is making snooty posts on an online forum. Get out there and enjoy life while you can.
