I think you're correct. I had to settle on an OR Premium allocation that won't be seen until August. Lots of SR5s in Idaho/Montana. I'm guessing it's a supply chain issue for the ORs.

I think Tacoma manufacturing is not at 100% and this is probably intentional to keep supply from going too high. Eventually inventory will build but perhaps not until early fall. No rush on my end since I am holding out for a LB hybrid that will likely never be built.

    Looks beefy!

I like it. I think the tailgate is obnoxious as hell, but it lets you flex on the poors 2 counties away, so I'll go with it at this point.

Yeah, the gimbal seats interests my nerdy side and I think are cool. The tailgate and center speaker will forever piss me off.

Toyota needs to get some Pros in customers hands. Imagining going to the beach this summer and not seeing a 24 Tacoma Pro.

I personally would ditch the Iso Dynamic, but if you delete the seats then it’s uncomfortably close to being a $55k TRD OR iForce Max with better shocks & appearance package. If you buy this truck, you’ll really need to show Raptor owners those seats, frequently.

Some see ridiculous seats with shock absorbers, I see marketing genius at work.

TRD OR Max w/SDM is $58K vs $66K for a Pro. $8K difference. May have missed or mispriced a few things on the chart below. List doesn't include the ISO seats. Installed, full warranty, and if you add that stuff to an OR you'll get pennies on the dollar at resale. The Pro will hold it's value at the same or better rate as a base or mid-level Tacoma.

Looks persuasive at a glance, however unfortunately our baseline TRD OR Max is already overpriced, costing the same as a Ranger Raptor. Therefore, the chart is only truly convincing in a parallel universe where the RR does not exist.

Point is, the Iso seats are a semi-functional Easter egg that keeps us talking about something other than the crazy price. Which, I sincerely believe is solid gold, marketing magic.
