You couldn’t be farther from the truth, i’ve had a deposit down since the beginning of August at another dealership that hasn’t gotten the allocation of the vehicle I’m looking for yet..
but if you choose to pay $2500 of above the actual price of the vehicle that is on you my friend good luck and Godspeed. I’m not that sucker. That is just ignorance and non-conscious consumer purchasing.

 

I wouldn’t agree to the $2500 either, put in an offer and what you’re willing to pay, and see what they come back with. Just having a discussion with a salesman and not putting an official request in, does you know good either just because the salesman upsets you due to the BS.
No different than the market adjustment fees, some of my local dealers were implementing it while others weren’t, you just tell them you’re not gonna pay that… They may accept your offer.
I’m just pointing out you’re making a big deal about ceramic and nitrogen, they’re not forcing that on you, nobody is going to say hey you have to buy the ceramic and the nitrogen in order to get this truck…

He said he was at the dealership talking to them and you're over here telling him what he was doing? 4k over asking to start, why even waste any more time at that kind of dealership? Some people don't like the back and forth arguing that it sounds like you enjoy.

Just sharing because I thought it was an interesting video of clearly the people making the video not being fully informed, but in the end loyalty is loyalty. They would have to do something incredibly off tilt to lose the interest of the second biggest cult followed vehicle in the United States.

Agreed, seems like a slightly non-informative opinion, but thought it was interesting enough to share it to see what the dingdong that aren’t loyal are saying

 

My take on it is you can insert GM/Chevy or Ford's name into that video and it would be the same complaints. I am shocked that they failed to mention that the rear has no legroom.

 

I stopped watching it after he argued the price. All mid-sized trucks are overpriced in relation to our "norm"–what our last vehicle cost. It's inflation. If you haven't bought a jug of milk for two years, you'll have the same reaction.

No plans to bring it to the US market right now but Kia plans to launch the Tasman in Korea during the first half of 2025, and then it will be introduced in Australia, Africa, and the Middle East. Photos on 2nd link.

finally a midsize pickup with good floor to ceiling space. nice to see what you can do when rollover ratings are throw out the window right where they should be for 4x4 pickups and suvs.
