This thread is not for medical research articles. Its for truck talk, specifically 4th gen tacomas. If you (or anyone else) actually cared about my research/stats resume, you're more than welcome to PM to talk about personal information not relevant to the thread. I could literally be the owner of JD Power and it wouldn't change your opinion of me, simply because I have an opinion that differs from yours and you're offended by it. The point still stands; the reference you cited literally says its numerical data and is of no statistical significance. Anyone with even a small understanding of how research is conducted reads that statement and cringes, because people too lazy to have a logical debate will see it as gospel.

if it relates to the post I put up then it belongs on this forum, if it doesn’t relate to what I put up, then it doesn’t belong on this forum, plain and simple. How far do you want to take this sir?

Why would anyone sue JDP for falsely representing information? They very clearly tell you (in the reference you cited) they're not claiming any statistical significance (break it down for idiots: they're not claiming any one brand over another is more or less dependable). If you choose to not read the clause and interpret the chart as you've interpreted it (as they intend for other idiots to do), you'll continue to believe it as gospel, and others will think less of you. Its a free country :oldglory:. Doors always open if you (or others) cared to have a real conversation about how research is conducted, analyzed, and presented (via PM; "respect the thread and stay on topic" says Off Topic Guy). Otherwise, farewell friend

Starting to wonder if I will see my '24.
I have a VTN and status as "scheduled for production". Delivery estimate is second week of December.
Hoping it doesn't get cancelled as '25 model year production starts.

Yeah, no doubt Toyota really shit the bed on this Release. I’m in the same boat as you.

What's wrong with them just making it a 25 instead?

I believe they would have to issue him a new Vin number right?

I assume it would be based on availability for a new allocation for the dealer. And I think '25 prices will be up.

Allocation build dates for 2025 I am hearing are beginning 2nd to 3rd week of December. So you could end up with one of the last for 2024's. being a late 2024, then incentives may help you out if Toyota gives any. I also heard that there is not much of a price increase expected for the 2025. Take that with a "grain of salt"

Yes, you would need to receive a new VIN.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately no VIN yet. Just a VTN.
Hope I sneak into this last production run.

I hope your dealer is wrong. There are no new 4Runners listed for sale in Texas, in cars.com. That’s a first.
