The sharpness of the line between the fender flare and the fender is not in line with the amount of dirt flying around either!

 

I think my 80 series Land Cruiser had 2 different I6 engines and maybe 3 different transmissions. They do like to change in generation powertrains only for the better.

That looks like red dirt to me.

 

My guess is aluminum. Someone in the spy photos thread mentioned the new Tundra has aluminum knuckles too.

 

I see Toyota already found a way to make the steering rack leak, even though it's electric.

The fuse point on the inner tie rod is interesting... if Toyota sold the inner tie rod as a spare part (it doesn't on the Tundra).

 

Hope it's water. There's some wetness on the bottom of the cv joint too.
