    Yes, I agree they are far from perfect but at the very least they are not catastrophic failures. Had a 99 4runner with 180k miles and had to replace the timing belt as well (precautionary) ( the old one still look good) and replaced the valve cover seals notorious for leaking but other than that it was super reliable as well . The 5vz is up there in reliability . Wonder how the 2gr-FKS will do in the long run. Mostly concerned about the timing cover leak. Cant believe there are still new ones experiencing the same issue and Toyota has not fixed that!

    That and never really heard of any turbo gas trucks other than ones the 80s. Which were a stop gap before the V6s were released, available for 2-3 years. That 3.0 V6 turned out to be a turd…

    Front flares still look glossy but rear look matte. Probably a render. Wonder what the production version will be? At least they're not camo.

    Yeah, I must have been thinking about the 4cyl + Hybrid. Still not afraid of a turbo 4 or a turbo 4 + Hybrid.
