Why did Social Security go up 5.9% in 2022 and 8.7% this year? The dems just wanted to give people more money? Or maybe inflation?

That has nothing to do with price of a 2020 TRD OR.

No, but it is relevant to what a 2023 OR (and everything else) costs today.

Seperate and outlying issue to overall increases of new vehicle price.

The 23 has less value and it costs more. Which is the opposite of what you have been saying this whole time.

Hopefully we get some Taco news Tuesday so there’s no more “spirited” debates.

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't late October/early November before any real news comes out after the complete radio silence since May.

I just want to configure a 4th gen and see how much it costs.

Once Toyota starts building them if potential supplier delays don't slow things down, how much trouble is Toyota going to have getting trucks into the US?

Some buzz on other forums about pricing possibly being released this week.

I'm guessing they won't release pricing until they let the journalists start test driving them.

The 23 is cheaper than the 2020 was. $34k in 2020 is $40k today. MSRP of a 2023 (36,700) is less, adjusted for inflation, than a 2020 was

If that's the nonsense you want to believe. All I can say is go buy yourself one and enjoy the savings.

Inflation is real, whether you want to believe it or not. It’s why your nominal salary, though vastly higher than your grand fathers’, doesn’t buy you a mansion

You're probably right. I just looked up when the info on the 2022 Tundra came out:

October 12, 2021 - Embargo lifted and first drive reviews get posted on YouTube
    November 5, 2021 - Pricing announced for non-hybrid models
February 1, 2022 - Pricing announced on iForce Max hybrid models

This may be a good timeline to reference for what we can expect for this Tacoma.

I have absolutely no idea how you guys are getting such great mpg from the 3.0 Duramax. My LZ0 has 7k miles and is averaging just 19.4 mpg over that mileage. I see 26 mpg on occasion, but rarely above 21 mpg on most days.

    Blows my mind...

19.4 is still better than I got with my third gen, but the payment negates that by a country mile.

I have an AT4 on the duratracs. Any other model should get better economy, and mine is rated for 22. I doubt you’re stuck in regen that often.

Amen, I need mpg's and price. I may be too impatient to wait for a hybrid.
