It would be very strange for a manufacturer to backtrack on options, if not stupid.

Mild concern, as we still don’t know the prices yet.

A ‘23 TRD Off Road has standard power sliding rear window, power seats, mirror blinkers, etc…and the ‘24 OR show truck noticeably didn’t have any of that.

Maybe they’re positioning the OR as a cheaper off roader with less frills, like Trail Boss.

 

Coming soon to a Toyota dealership near you, 1 TRD OR every 6 weeks marked up $5,000 over with no cruise control!

What's it eight configurations and six different models? You have start with an SR and trade all the way up to Pro and trailhunter and pay the 5k markup on each model in the process.

 

Did anyone check the glovebox at the auto show? They might be in there..

 

I'll gladly exchange the 2 cylinders for more torque.

Glove box is part of the premium ++ package, which includes your side blinkers. The best $1500 you’ll ever spend.

No but it comes with a can of steam to hook up for extra boost.

You do realize it wasn't a production vehicle I hope? It was just for show , the final product when they start building them will have thr bells and whistles

 

Guy at the Detroit Auto Show even commented that it was a pre-production model. He got access to the inside but wasn't supposed to. Even though it was a TRD Off Road, there weren't any decals on the rear fenders. Def not representative of what will be sold.

 

No, I’m actually counting on that sad truck not representing the final product.

Because it would be disconcerting if Toyota would charge the same (or more) for a ‘24 TRD OR w/o the basic stuff that’s standard in a ‘23.
Separately, that leaked ordering guide also points that direction, but looking forward to seeing the official prices.
