    Yea, pretty much.

I’m sick of the half ass marketing on this gen. Looking forward to seeing the production trucks, legit reviews, pictures, prices, etc.

The rear window is too stubby, so the stylists had to add a black panel on the outside to visually lengthen the look of the rear window, as a visual gimmick. So, the rear passenger (presumably a very small child or hobbit) from the inside gets to look at a wall of black.

It's function is only for rear view mirror use. That's all a pick ups rear window is for anyway. Any further functionality is just a creature comfort.

Referring to the rear side glass. Short, w a black plastic trim extension on the outside to lengthen it, like a Nissan Frontier. From the inside, the side view out is restricted.

Hopefully the seat is much further rearward than needed. Look at the head room with the seat that far back. Will only fit long leg short torso people.

Hopefully there is more room. They clearly put a lot of design effort into the look of the seat back, with the gloss black casing, industrial design, and exposed shocks. What would be the point if nobody sees all of that b/c they can’t fit in the back seat.

No adjustable head rests on those goofy seats either. Look how much lower the head rests are at the front seats compared to the rear. Not great or safe for tall people.

Rear seats look higher. Not sure head rest height is an issue.

Is some of what we're seeing and talking about "Pre-Productioness"?

Maybe the rear seat is higher because of the battery. Stadium style seating.

Looks like the seat is wearing a Parachute.

The front seats go back that far so if your rear passenger is pissing you off you can slowly crush their legs with the electric seat. It's a "Pro" move.

I strongly doubt they are going to redesign the rear doors at this point.

Really looks like a rear passenger in a head on collision is gonna have some ouchies from the knee down.

I wonder if the larger pillars are for air bags.

If you look at the GX550 and new “mini” Cruiser, they have wide D pillars (C=D on the Tacoma). Must be Toyota’s new styling trend.
