Toyota hasn't been smart enough to link the head unit brightness to the dimmer switch, they have at least given us a dimmer switch again over that ridiculous odo reset thing they did with the 3rd gen.

The dimmer switch in my Subaru controls literally everything, IDK why Toyota hasn't done this. The instrument cluster, boost gauge screen, head unit, steering wheel buttons, and even window switches are all controlled with a single dimmer switch:

"Analog" cluster these days are digital too lol, the gauges are controlled by an electronic motor and it has been this way for decades.
My 1996's true analog speedometer gets really cranky and noisy in the cold weather before the cab heats up, so this is a valid point

I think this is my issue as well. Well, one of them anyways.

If it was built in the seat somehow, I would still think it is gimmicky, but as it is it is so "Look at me!" and eats up too much space to be useful. People can argue that people that buy it might not have someone behind them so what does it matter, but i'd argue if you buy them, you can't have anyone back there that has legs.

Should have put them in the XC and make it the Pro, but no one would buy it and Toyota obviously wants to sell more than 6 trucks.

Looks like a curling iron holder.

    Nothing!

Yeah, but you can still read them if the screen takes a shit.

The rear seats are useless in the Pro with the Iso D seats. It maycas well be an XCab, it have the rears deleted. I know some people prefer the looks of the DCSB to the Xcab. I like the look of the short bed with a cap. Why would anyone want the DC with out usable seats. If for storage? The Trail Hunter in DC would make more sense than the Pro.

Isuzu use to offer a suspension seat on the NPR chassis, it might be standard equipment now. Visually the seats looked identical. There were no air cylinders.

That's another one of those is it really necessary features? If it's that hot or cold outside I'm spending the minimalist amount of time in a vehicle to begin with. I'm sure it's a nice feature, but if you are outside ruffing it.

That looks like a helicopter and not a midsize truck. Temperatures are probably different when flying.

If the ECU (environmental control unit) didn't work, the aircraft was down. No windows and the "green house" would make the interior extremely warm. The ECU didn't just flow through the back and butt cushions, there were dash vents. You could make the air blowing out so cold the vents would literally spit snowballs at you.

I’m good with the larger screen, and hear that it functions really well in the Tundra. Just integrate it so it doesn’t look like 2010 BMW. Jamming a flat screen into the dash is outdated and Toyota interior designers should know this.

They did it the way they did because it's a lot easier to replace if they fail

Don't you dare drag ventilated seats into this! Ventilated seats are amazing and should be cherished.

Screens can easily be damaged not a bad idea to make them easilt replaceable. I can only imagine what a screen goes through in a vehicle that sees a lot of passengers.

They sound like a good feature, but then I think about hoe necessary they are. If it's hot can't you just wear some mesh shorts, or if that cold a pair of long underwear?

Ehhhh. I'm getting a lot of Tundra vibes out of this truck both interior and exterior. It looks like there will be more clearance for larger tires without needing to hammer pinch welds or perform cab mount chops.

Toyota historically has been pretty bad at nailing a good wheel offset for most of its vehicles. They look like they are finally starting to take offset into consideration as an aesthetic.

Guess we'll see but it's not my favorite.... although like I said I have looked at every gen taco initially and thought they looked hideous... then strangely enough they wind up growing on me somehow.
