I find it odd they wouldn't continue making the sport with a 6ft bed in canada

Well with enough money, steel, aluminum, and a torch/welder you can get one.

It almost looks like the Toyota designers tried to do this…

And somehow it ended up like this….

The frontier is not a bad looking truck but I still prefer the taco. It’s a small departure design wise from the third gen. I’ve driven my friends new frontier. I still can’t figure out how Nissan managed to make the interior look so dated. It drives better than our v6 though I’ll give it that. Too bad long term reliability is much more questionable.

The Frontier wasn’t changed for what, 15 years? Nissan copied Toyota, not the other way around.

I watched a couple videos this guy had posted. The 4th gen is already growing on me. The access cab looks pretty good and the flares aren't as gaudy as I have seen in other pictures. It's really not that bad.

Would be pretty neat if Toyota somehow redevelops TX550h+’s powertrain into a longitudinal engine platform that could implemented for the Tacoma. A plugin hybrid Tacoma would be very sweet.

    Right. My point.

Everyone copied Gen3. Which is why it’s so puzzling that Toyota did such an amateur-hour job benchmarking its own, already successful design.

Honestly, I’ll drive the ugly Toyota over a handsome Nissan-knockoff all day, but I’m surprised at all the handwringing related this new design.

The Tundra Air Dam is 1. smaller, and 2. folds. Why couldn't they have done that?
