Remeber the Jones's SB ad for the Tundra, doubt if that really paid off.

Are you truly under the impression that the only people who watch NFL games are blackout drunks? You're a wild one my friend. Its simply a numbers game.. Get your ads in front of the most amount of eyes you can. If the choices are get an ad in during the NFL game, Toddlers and Tiaras, or The Price of Glee, why wouldn't you use NFL games as your main target..

This picture is a little more glamorous. But yea, silver really exposes those angles and creases.

There's a reason bat doesn't run the largest car company in the world. Also it's not just trucks they will sell by partnering with the NFL.

Toyota is not wasting their money on advertising. They know exactly what they are doing. Yes, every Tacoma built every year gets sold. Same thing is true for a Nissan Rouge for that matter.

So why do it? What they are doing is making it known that the new one is coming out, that it spans from entry and extended cab all the way to fancy (Limited) and adventure (TRD Pro and Trailhunter). And they are getting people who are not yet ready to buy trucks thinking of Tacoma as their next or even someday aspirational vehicle. You don't want a Frontier or a Ranger, you want a Toyota.

Back in the mid 80's my cousin returned from Army duty driving a Toyota build just like in Back to the Future. Almost 40 years later it still sticks in my brain.

Oh by the way, when you come into the Toyota dealership and don't buy a Tacoma, that's OK. You are there, and some of the visitors are going to walk out with a different Toyota. All about building a pipeline of brand, aspiration, traffic and buyers.

Toyota isn't throwing their money away.

Kinda funny that people say things like, advertising and marketing is a waste of money etc when literally every facet of their lives have been driven by an advertising or marketing campaign....

113 Million people watched the Super Bowl in 2023, if even a sliver of 1 percent of people watching choose to buy a Toyota vehicle over another it was well worth the ROI

Toyota has been running TV ads for popular models like the Tacoma and RAV4 during sports events throughout the last few years. They may not be as prevalent as Ford and GMC during NFL games but they still advertise.

Who Jan? The latest ad might have a different girl.

Never seen an ad for an AC must be why they don't sell as well.

Maybe there will be some report on how well Toyota's NFL advertising pans out. I didn't even watch the last SB, who won the Jets?

I’d love to pitch Toyota marketing on an advertising concept for a commercial: Starting with trees, and some hills. Maybe snow. Or sand. A person, possibly Jan, or even that Sasquatch they used back in 2016, gets out of a ‘24 Tacoma….and tells us what the Tacoma prices will be.

Or better yet just skip the commercial and drop it on a configurator please…

Did Toyota Jan have plastic surgery, or did she change naturally as she aged over the years? There was a big time gap where I didn't see her then I recently saw an ad and she looked different but I could still tell it was her.

I'm thinking natural aging as she's been doing their ads for several years and was much younger

We could be talking details about the next gen, but instead we’re talking about how an adult woman looks different today compared to 10 years ago.

    Thanks Toyota.

Stop lying she is the reason you drive a Toyota. She also sounds different in that NFL ad.
