    All part of the plan.

Keep us distracted by Jan to the very last minute, when they finally reveal that the Trailhunter MSRP is $84,563.56

That is, before dealer market adjustment. And tax, title tag…

I can’t unsee the weird rear seat passenger window anymore. I hate whoever pointed it out.

The bed really doesn't look a whole lot different from the 3rd Gen...but that air dam - go big or go home?

I bet the 2nd/3rd gen bed mats fit it perfectly and also any 2nd/3rd gen running boards/steps. Hell, they will probably carry the same old roof rack over too although I’d love to see simple raised rails as an option this time.

The Stock SR5 looks awesome in my eyes. Great starting platform. I'd say there will be a plethora of aftermarket support for this 4th gen. It will be interesting to see what the aftermarket comes out with for front bumpers.

To me that looks outstanding for an SR5. Looks a lot more premium and than the previous SR5s.

Would put some black wheels and 32s on that week 1 though. But I can see a lot of suburbanites being happy as is.

I generally like it too. It needs a couple of things addressed, as you mentioned, but overall I do prefer it to the roided out upper level trucks I have seen so far.

I will say the underhood shot looks terrible though. It looks like someones abandoned project vehicle on Facebook Marketplace. That's not SR5 specific though.

It's my favorite trim level so far.

Not as awesome as Jan though IMO.

As far as the underhood goes I wonder if it was for cooling purposes? I do prefer the engine beauty covers. Otherwise, it looks messy and cheap for lack of a better word.

Looks like spaghetti junction under the hood, somehow the hybrid looked cleaner.

Longer wheelbase means the wheel well cutout on the bed mat will be farther back. Note there's now a gap between the headboard and the wheel well intrusion on the short bed model.
Pfft 99% of Toyota owners never open their hood, so why bother? :p Less shelter for mice, too, without a cosmetic cover.

The Highlander version of the 2.4T has a semi-functional cover that directs air over the turbo, but…that motor is transverse, so the cover wouldn’t work on the Tacoma (longitudinal).
