    TRD: Lift, Exhaust, Air Intake, Skid Plate & "Beadlock" wheels. Batman sticker. 255/85R16 Toyo MTs. Debadged. H9s.
    At least in the Canadian market, the only trim that will offer a choice between gas-only or hybrid will be the Off-Road.
    Only the Off-Road and Sport will have the manual transmission available (only on the non-hybrid versions) with a small reduction in HP and torque.
    No mention of which models will offer XtraCab versions; but my guess is that we'll still see XtraCab Off-Roads with manuals...that's kind of the quintessential mountain truck.
    It will be interesting to see what the demand is for the various combinations.

    Yeah the Sport and SR5 are gassers only. Toyota Canada has reserved the Hybrid option for the premium models. The only model that straddles both sides is the Off-Road. No SR listed at this point.

    I thought XtraCab was going to be leaf spring only? The OR has the rear link suspension. Toyota which I'm sure they could add the coils to the rear in the XC to build an OR, will they do that? They would also have to add the electronic OR driving aides.

    Just came from the Tundras forum I guess Toyota is going to start selling a TRD Performance package for the Tundra. People are guessing it’s a tune plus other stuff. Safe to say they’ll probably do the same thing with the Tacoma

    Probably wheels, factory lift and bolt ons. Highly doubt an engine tune.

    This will have to be released by Thanksgiving one would think. They will sell at sticker-plus for sure, yet, anyone buying this first batch of trucks is really rolling the dice.

    interesting... production started almost 2 weeks ago per "According to the forum post, the start of production (SOP) began the week of 2 October for pre-production vehicles. Mass production of the customer-spec fourth-generation Tacoma started on 13 October. The plan is to ramp up the production to 6,480 trucks per week, starting in January 2024."
