Peeling? Well first off they are not production trucks they are just for show so the fit and finish is not what you will get when you order . But where is it peeling?

Peeling starts where the snorkel plastic rubs against the fender paint, just like the 4Runner's tailgate handle garnish.

 

boy.....those flares stick out an awful lot.. they look like those big ol bushwhackers.

To me, regardless of color/finish, they are just ugly when they are that large.

 

This and I can get over some of the ugly but I’m more concerned with the quality based on the new Tundra guessing it’s cheaper feeling than the current gen. As that’s been all the manufacturers these days along with sky rocketing pricing.

 

I think the flares don't look as large when they are body colored.

 

Ehh .. I dunno man... I guess they serve a purpose.

Like I said....it'll likely grow on me in a few years.. But right now I just can't aesthetically like it.

That's a big part of a purchase decision for a lot of folks.

 

You do an offset and those flares will look amazing

 

I can't. I have some pretty aggressive negative offset on my truck. These huge flares kill it. I'll change my mind once someone puts on some -38mm bs wheels and I see it. Right now I can't like it .

 

Not trying to start anything, but don't the tires stick out like 2" past the flares on the truck in your pic on your signature?

Seems like you are in the market for some wide flares right now lol.

 

I like the Toyota flares better than the Ranger Raptor flares. I don't know why.

 

I do prefer the way ford incorporated the flowerbed edging into the trim around the bottom of the truck and bumpers.

Toyota just sorta ends and then has sheetmetal showing, defeating the entire purpose of flares to begin with.
