I believe there is a video linked in the last few 5 pages or so detailing the Xrunner build.

Im sure the sub will only come with some sort of “premium package” but really dumb that the rear seats don’t appear to lay completely flat when folded down now. Not a great option for dogs anymore or using it as additional hauling space. I’d prob have to go back to rocking a softopper with gen4 which also comes with its own annoyances.

They have said in several and I mean several videos that the materials used may not be the final product. You all need to chill until we see the final product

Given the great job they did with the Sequoia cargo space, I'm sure it will be alright.

That cargo space is a nightmare.

The trucks are supposed to be delivered in a few weeks. They aren’t still making design changes.

It’s perfect as long as you only travel with a laptop and a couple pairs of shoes. o_O My friend was going to buy a new Sequoia but ended up getting a used one when he saw how stupid the storage space had become. The whole purpose of a Sequoia is haul a bunch of kids and stuff. I guess the designers forgot about that.

Agreed, full production should be ramping up soon, highly doubt they are still fooling around with design changes.

You're very SMRT . The trucks they are showing were probably built 2 months ago

The back of the seats being covered in carpet is a pretty horrible change. Like another has said, this is almost essential with a dog and was such an innovative yet obvious feature to have when included in the 2005.

I believe materials may change compared to the Hawaii trucks. Not the addition of a complete plastic backing. That carpet shit was rubber stamped a year ago at least. Corolla tier shit imo.

This truck is going from “okay, not perfect” to “wtf was Toyota thinking” pretty quick.

BTW that Ranger Raptor is way more aesthetically appealing than the Tacoma IMO.

Even though I don't haul dogs in the back, I keep my rear seats folded flat for hauling other stuff like laptop for work, groceries, etc. That new rear seat design sucks IMO.

We need some pricing so you can all complain about something else. Maybe I'll go back to the 3rd gen forum where the guy had his dog pee on his tire and thought it was leaking something else...

The Ranger is better than it used to be, but the backseat still isn’t as cool as the 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma. Here’s a pic of the Ranger from the Ford website.

materials might be different but the fundamental way seats operate is not. Total miss on both the access cab not having the mini doors anymore, and definite downgrade with this doublecab situation.

The problem with that configuration for me is I have the seat all the way back so the likelihood of the rear seats folding 'near' flat is probably not happening due to the front seats being in the way.

The Ranger Raptor is a shrunk down F150 Raptor. Not necessarily a bad look but starting to look dated and who wants to be a "mini-me". At least the Tacoma doesn't look exactly like a shrunk down Tundra.

There are no interior options for the Ranger Raptor. You're stuck with that orange trim which already looks dated/tacky. You can get a black seats in the Pro if you don't like red. I think the Tacoma interior looks better (really don't like the vertical display in the Raptor).

You're probably the only person who prefers the screen sticking up above the dash. I feel the Tacoma looks exactly like a mini Tundra but looks are def subjective.

If the rear headrests come off, problem solved. I would not buy one.
