I'm glad Toyota is waiting so close to 2024 to release their 2024 models. Its almost like it was meant to be that way. I've always thought it was stupid to have next year's models on the streets within the 1st or 2nd quarter of the current year. Wait until 1/1/24 to drop pricing/specs as far as I'm concerned. We need more time to discuss EV's anyways

personal opinion, cannot stand steel wheels. Reminds me of early 1990’s Geos.

 

I beat my 91 metro up and down the east coast with those 3 cylinders... NC to MA every other weekend.

hid those steelies behind plastic hubcaps tho. and had to draft behind 2 cars to get faster than 65mph...

 

IMO, they are obsolete at any price point.

I like them, have a set but they dinged the already piss poor gas mileage too much so I took them off.

Consider those those alumni Fifteen52 Anologs, but at $1500+ I don’t like them that much…

If they want to test drive and get access probably have a to sign a non-disclosure contract, if they breech it they get sued.

 

Those 17" steelies will be heavy, too. It's for fleet sales to contractors (think Orkin pest control). Need to cut prices down as much as possible.

I still say the Tacoma launched early in the same week the new Ranger did to steal some thunder and also overshadow the new GM twins.

I can't think of any other reason they showed it early, then showed it very little for the longest time.

Just my guess.
