You seriously think they sell more extra cabs then double cabs?

I wish that package had the bed power outlet. That’s one of the only extras that I actually need. Sucks that you need to spend thousands more to get it. Same with the sliding rear window.

What would you use the outlet for? At 400 watts max the only useful purpose for mine I've found is charging power tool batteries.

Same here, that and a utility trailer would work for 99% for the stuff I do. But yeah that truck bed is awfully nice to have.

Same. I also use it for running a small compressor for inflating tires, beach floats, air mattresses and charging things while camping.

I just can’t justify spending 5k on stuff I don’t necessarily need. Some people may not have an issue dropping it but I’ve had my 01 for years. I can live without the features. The one feature id like is wireless charging but it’s not worth the extra money to me

I used a blower fan on mine once enough to kill my battery lol. It shuts off after a certain amount of time. After restarting it about 4 times I should have stopped I think. But charging tools, blow up air mattress, and run a fan is about it.

Well played, and great pic. As good as it is, Gen4 being too expensive does not mean Gen3 owners have anything to apologize for. In fact, holding onto or buying a Gen3 is looking pretty smart considering the inflated MSRP, configurator chess games, distributor stacking, dealer fees & interest rates….

Gen4’s a worthy replacement, but why on earth would any current owner be in a hurry to fund their local Toyota Sales Manager’s new Sea Ray.

That seems to be a common theme here. Toyota has priced current Tacoma owners out of the market.
