The 3rd gen oil is a cake walk.

I seriously want the diesel and regear over anything else. I’m gonna do my own lift, tires, lighting, etc anyway.

I just traded in my 2016 Cummins on a 2021. The oil change on the 2014 plus 6.7 is a pita and literally no one on tdr or cf ever complains about it. It has two fuel filters and the chassis mounted unit is impossible to change without getting a diesel shower...and again, no one complains about it.

If we had a similar system in a Tacoma, this place would shit itself into a coma.

If the 4th Gen looks like Eve from Wall-E I’m gonna just get a Gladiator Eco Diesel

Basically, Toyota's next gen Tundra and Tacoma are going to get the Land Cruiser style (looks freshly redesigned) 5 link, coil sprung rear with boxed frame rails. So 4runner, Taco, Tundra, Lexus LX and GX, Hilux and possibly new Sequoia will be all of virtually the same rear design, and probably front design.

The 4th gens are going to be the best Tacoma and Tundra ever made, and getting respectable payload. Hoping to get one

I finally understood why 1st gens Tacomas are loved, it took owning a 1st gen Tundra, like a bigger 1st gen Tacoma, then going back to my 2005 2nd gen with it's soul-less interior and its paper tailgate. Took 4 years of owning my 2nd gen to see that side. Of course there is the 2012-2015 front end I now love, the 4.0, and the better front suspension on 2nd/3rd gen.

Toyota has got to offer the Tacoma hybrid with the next gen right?

My only concern is I'll trade my current truck for the hybrid, then soon after they'll release a Tacoma hybrid prime and I'll have to trade once again lol.

I think a hybrid would be perfect for Tacoma owners, extra torque to get your 35's turning from a stop light. Can you imagine a loaded up expo rig getting 20+ mpg, instead of 10?

That's a huge increase in range. Getting 200 mile range is deplorable

There is a big difference in power delivery, noise, and fuel economy between the rav4 and rav4H. If the Taco H follows suite they will be a big hit. Will undoubtedly turn off the dedicated off roaders but for the average drivers, they will be a hit!

Hybrid would be sweet, especially if someone figures out how to access all that battery for other stuff. Imagine being able to run fridges and lights and stuff from the factory without ever worrying about killing your starter battery. The sienna hybrid has a 1500w inverter thanks to the larger battery too.

So does the rav4 prime! after this years "Ice-storm" I was a bit envious of the guys that snagged the new hybrid f-150

Man I was thinking the same thing. How do you go from "this truck has a hilux motor" to "fuck it, give me a truck with a minivan motor"

Lol I kid. 2GR is a great motor and my old 3rd gen was solid. Can't go wrong with a Tacoma, no matter the gen

The 2nd Gen looked too similar to a Frontier. Dont @ me.
