If that’s the case, then a 6spd 2022 TRD Pro would be the best last tacoma to get.:D

Man, imagine if you have a mint 2015 Pro edition and last year of the 3rd gen TRD pro, both manual. That would’ve been awesome.

Im guessing last Year would be 2023 then, not sure why I said 2022.

A 2015 Pro MT would be sweet to have for sure, I had a 2015 ACOR MT just prior to my 2017.

It had a problem with the Access Cab doors from day one with the latches that caused the doors to knock when going over bumps. When the Dealer was trying to fix the doors somehow they "accidently" bashed in the door sill rocker panel and after months of back and forth on repair options they decided it was better to go with a new truck. That truck also had the worst clutch of any vehicle I have ever driven as the catch point was at the complete very top as in the pedal had to be all the way up.

    Nte
    Interesting.

There was no way of adjusting that clutch?

Starting to see some really impressive MPG numbers from these early Tundra tests. I can't wait to hear what Toyota does with the 4th Gen Tacoma powertrain, that's WAY more important to me than the styling details.

Low to mid 20's in mixed driving, and that wasn't even the hybrid.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pm7MKBdmwrk

That's a big jump from the current V8's EPA-estimated 13 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway.

Bearing in mind that the Sienna Hybrid gets 36mpg combined, it's not crazy to think that a 4cyl turbo hybrid Tacoma might see 30mpg combined (or close to it). That would be a big jump from the 20MPG I get per tank in my '21 V6.

My 2021 OR tank average mpg in the summer is 18.8. It just dropped to 17.7 with the winter mix. This is predominantly city driving.

I would welcome a 20% improvement on my next Taco but it won’t be the next vehicle that gets purchased. I’ll probably have the 2021 for quite some time. I’m just now coming up on 10k miles.

I’m more interested in the next gen 4Runner to replace my 2016. I’m hoping Toyota still plans to make a next gen runner.
