Have to say if you like more space, grab a new Tundra. Plus going on 4 model years in, the gremlins are being slayed.

Bought new truck in Oct 23 and dealer wouldn't budge below MSRP on the Pro Tundra ..other models you could do around 5-9% off.

Lightning !!! lol ...hey guys you can sleep in the frunk.

Also would wait until you can compare same truck with a hybrid model ...really enjoy mine for the extra power numbers and absolutely no hesitation from a stop like some non-hybrids are reporting in the Tundra.

Indeed. I said same thing about buying until came across this Pro while on vacation last year and it didn't have a line of people driving price way above MSRP because was in a smaller market town/State. Price still sucks but bottom line is you won't be driving a new truck at 2021 prices. For me this tops my 2016 Platinum Tundra in every way besides turning radius. Really liked (and still like) the 2016 but don't miss it at all, this 24 is just a way better driving experience.

    Yeah.
I would say they had options to choose from, but not a ton on the lot, maybe between 5 and 10 in different trims. I got a great deal on my TRD Pro, but they were unloading an identical TRD Pro when I picked mine up, so I think they just didn't want 2 identical TRD Pros on the lot.

I'm sure the 4th gen will be fine, but I haven't seen but 4 or 5 on the road here and 1 at a dealership. I don't live in the Boonies either, it's a top 15 metropolitan area in the US.

I still think it's a combination of factors, some self inflicted, some are just market forces at work. Long term it will be fine and this era will just be a bump in the road.

Seen a bunch here in Vt.
They don’t really catch my eye just notice the headlights when on.

That's why I switched to a Sierra Denali. I just couldn't bring myself to pay $60k for a Tacoma. Loved my 2010 but that is one hell of a price increase.

They are easy to miss, they look a lot like a Tundra at first glance on the road...but statistically speaking there are not a whole lot of them on the road so it's not surprising you haven't seen one yet. I've seen a few that at first glance I thought were Tundras.

Full size for me next time. Ridiculous pricing and all that jammed in a 4 banger. No thanks.

Funny you say that, this was exactly my second choice. I have been on the 24' Tacoma Pro "waiting list," and have been growing a little impatient when the first one that was coming in the area the dealer wanted $15k over MSRP. If GMC had a darker gray similar gray to the Underground, I would be in a Sierra Denali short bed right now. I just hate their grays....

My bet is yes. Who needs all the extra torque and HP in a midsized truck? If you need those kind of numbers buy a full size truck. Should have just spec'd the hybrids for higher mpg and they'd fly off the lots.

$70k then I paid $2200 for the 10 yr. 100k extended warranty and lifetime powertrain warranty. I've never been a fan of extended warranties but I question the quality coming out of most factories these days.

It really is an apples to oranges comparison. I loved me 2010 Tacoma with manual tranny. Fun to drive and most reliable auto I've ever owned. Stepping up to the Denali, however, is a different ball game. Super comfortable and spacious. I'm 100% on highway so no sacrifice moving on from the Taco.
