I reached out to that guy for a purchase. Didn't want any phone calls, everything via text, vague replies. Started asking specifics, and he ghosted me. Very odd interaction.

He was great with me! Texted me a price, set up a quick follow up phone call. Deposit sent, truck picked up! Easiest vehicle purchase ever.

How about some fake land cruisers? Want to pay over 70K? and even 100K because dealer wants to put some in pocket?

Whys it fake? I saw a modded 1958 and it looked good, and I thought they were just based off the LC250 body and the GX was the LC300?

I just paid the same for a TRD OR Tundra as they wanted for a TRD OR Tacoma, doesn't make any sense. List price not bad engine price.

V6 4x4 8' bed $35,000 probably can't beat this truck at that price anywhere.

For the love of someone's GOD do NOT invest in an FCA vehicle with the Pentastar in it.

I was part of the 3.6 Pentastar lawsuit. The dreaded 90k valve tick was my FCA Jeeps fate.

Can you elaborate? Does that signal engine damage or just a nuisance? I’ve read about the head gaskets failing on those at around 60k. It’s a shame they don’t have a good engine option for the Wrangler.

I’ve had 3 dealers call about 3 buyer back out trucks (trd or prem). I would say people are definitely second guessing (myself included) whether that’s perceived issues and tundra association or price or economy, people aren’t handing over money like they were with prior gen transitions.

Well, you can get upwards of $7000 off a Tundra with 1.99% for 60 months vs TSRP for most Tacomas with 7.5% on 60 months via Toyota's in house finance. Obviously there's a reason the Tundras are deep discounted, but hard to make the argument if you want a Toyota but are agnostic about the model.

I have only seen 2 on a cross country trip from GA to NM. Both looked to be basic black SR2.3s or whatever Toyota is selling them as. Figured I would see at least a couple of ORs. No new Land Cruiser sightings either.

Yep, this has been my thought process even with the recall, do I just roll the dice and pick up a heavily discounted Limited OR package Tundra for similar pricing and a better rate, especially with a kid now and can always use the room.
