4th gens NOT selling

I’m going back to the 3rd gen forum!
I have a 2018 off road and that’s where I should be anyway!
Would I pay 60k for a new one NO!

 

the only increase in cost i see is that the engineers have to shoehorn a model into a specific frame compared to building a frame around what you want to build.

but the bean counters will love that you get a faster roi on the expense when you spread the upfront cost across 6-8 models. so instead of taking for example 5+ yrs to get a roi on your R&D on a single platform, you get it back in say 2-3 yrs across 6-8 models.

 

I think I'm going to join a Ford Raptor forum and start defending the hell out of ford trucks even though I don't have one or plan on owning one.

lol thanks. i only get on these forums during work, helps to kill time during my 4x10's.

once work is done i stay off the forums (tacomaworld.com, tundras.com, 4runners.com) was very active on toyota-4runner.org but that place went downhill the last few years imo.

 

They knew to get rid of that 4.slow

 

Nahhh. I would take the 4.0 over the leaky car motor any day of the week.

 

I've seen local dealers in CA hide their stock and only take out a few at a time to make it look they don't have a lot of stock.

 

Not a GM fan at all and would never buy one. But this definitely is a more aesthetically pleasing design imho.

Yeah, it looks worlds better than the Gen4 Tacoma, IMO.

 

Saw one like that the other day pulling an Airstream and noted how good looking it was. Looked beefy.

One of my customers just got the Chevy Colorado Trail Boss, nice looking truck. Too bad no MT option, but again with only 90k on my 2017, I have years left before I'm in the market. Hopefully, it calms and prices come down, but doubtful. These cost, I will spend it for more towing, hauling full size for my family.

 

Next week I’m getting my hail damage repaired on my 2019 trd OR and I guess my rental is a midsize truck. I can’t wait to see what it will be. I’m guessing it will be a Nissan frontier or ford ranger.
