4th of July fireworks from the Willamette river in Portland

    Have any of my fellow Taco owners with boats done the fireworks from the water viewing ?

    If so, where do you tie up, what time do you need to get there and do you need an anchor?

    They usually launch the fireworks from a barge in front of the Blues Festival that takes place on the waterfront in front of the Marriot... I'm sure everything is canceled this year or will be but if it goes down... anywhere near the Marriot will be front and center!

    Maybe we can have flashbangs instead, those are pretty festive, right?

    Didn’t Portland already cancel 4th of July festivities months ago? Like right at the beginning of the pandemic shutdowns.

    My understanding was that that the blues festival and brew festivals and park gatherings were canceled but the fireworks were still happening? Its possible i have outdated info.
