I'm very jealous cause we stayed two nights in Grandcamp Normandy and the area was so amazing. We really wished we stayed longer but we continued to Brussels. Our time in Brussels was ok lol. Our window was bashed out the night we stayed. It didn't kill the trip but we were ready to get back to Germany.:burnrubber: I'm just happy it wasn't the Taco

That sucks!! We stayed in Bordeaux and treated it like a long staff ride. You should go back... we went to see the Bordeaux tapestry, Mont-Saint-Michel, and bunch of other historic battle sites. You won’t regret going back. One reason I wished I had been stationed in Germany. You’re lucky you get to see all the European countries if you choose to!

This is our second time being station in Germany so we are very lucky. We try not to repeat locations on trips but last time we went to france we just saw Paris so we had to go back. My Paratroopers had such a good time at the 75th anniversary we had to see it for ourselves.

This was a long trip with alot of driving but well worth it. It was hard to pick which one I missed the most, my taco or dog... Finally back home though. Hope you all enjoyed the thread.
