    Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum but I've been doing mechanical work for a while. I recently put together my first youtube tutorial on fixing the 4WD actuator on the Tacoma. Let know what you think about the video:

I'm open to all constructive criticism, feedback and comments.

    Cheers,

Hi Doublecross, there's a drain and fill plug on the front differential. It's similar to the rear differential. I'll put together a video for that when I do the front differential fluid maintenance lol.

I like that you accelerated the video of disassembly and reassembly as needed. Too many videos spend 20 minutes taking off one bolt with some kind of narrative that annoys me to no end! Nice video!

    This and that...
Just finished this repair today. Fortunately the actuator seemed to be the cause of the issue. I did crack open the original one and looked pretty clean inside. The gears did feel like they had some binding in them. I’ll connect a little battery to it later to see what was going on. I added some black gasket sealer to the new part and some hose clamps for breather tube.
