    No need to spoof the motor with a resistor, which would require a very large power resistor and generate a lot of heat. Just leave the motor lying somewhere and keep it connected. It'll hurt nothing if it runs for a little while every time you shift your TC.

    Not a fan of solutions like that. The resistor generates no heat due to how large it is and how little the ECU needs it to be energized. This is the same resistor the 2lo mod uses and nobody has had an issue with it, under the same purposes.

    the ECU is essentially checking the motor is there at startup and then it energizes it briefly during shifting until the limit switches are where they need to be. Since the limit switches are now spoofed also, the ECU is basically satisfied immediately and doesn’t energize the resistor for more than a split second. In other words, it’s very rare that the ECU actually does anything with the resistor, but it needs to be there to get rid of the motor. I just don’t like options like leaving the motor connected and zip tied somewhere, not as clean.
