    Good day everyone,

So my 4wd isn't working. The front wheel doesn't lock. So I bought a new 4wd Actuator.

So now, I unplugged the wire harness from the old Actuator and connected it to the new Actuator. I turn the ignition to on position, press the the 4wd button. But the fork thing on the new Actuator didn't move or make a buzzing sound.

Now it got me thinking the wire harness is the problem. So I would like some help me testing the wire harness. How can I test it with a multimeter? I have never used a multimeter.

Is this an electric actuator and not a vacuum actuator? I thought the 99 had vacuum actuator but I could be wrong. If it's a vacuum actuator then that harness is only connected to a switch in the add.

From the looks of it, it used to be a vacuum. The previous owner might have change it to be electric. So it is electric now

Is that a two pin wire harness or six pin wire harness on that actuator?
