4wd disengage noise

    Hi all, first post here. I picked up a 2006 DC a few weeks ago, and have been driving it in snow the last week. What is the "normal" sound when 4wd is disengaged? I've noticed a minor "clunk", not unlike other 4wds I've owned.

    Before going back from 4wd to 2wd take your foot off the gas pedal and make the switch while coasting. With no load on the driveline you won't get the clunk noise.
