4wd doesnt work and makes grinding noise

so i just bought this tacoma and its a 2004 v6 3.4L its a a 4wd sr5 and the 4wd isnt working now. the actuator that changes it from L4 to H isnt doesnt work. its also been making this grinding noise when i shift from N to L4 or H. it sounds like its in the transmission and the video shows the drive shaft shaking is that normal?
