I tried searching for this but no luck so sorry if there’s a thread about this.

Has anyone tried going over 62 with 4WD engaged and if so what happens?

If you try to engage 4H above 62 mph, it will beep angrily and refuse to switch. Perfectly safe to exceed 62 once 4H is engaged.

Don't do it because the owner's manual says don't do that.

Why would you even want to do this..? I just let mine roll strait in drive at about 20mph with my foot off the gas while switching. Assuming you mean switching at 62?

You can drive as fast as you want with 4hi engaged.

I tried, there was a flash of light and I ended up in 1986. Thank God I had been there before and knew how to get back...

Well shit, is it okay to come to a complete stop shift to neutral (MT) then switch to 4hi? Call me old school but I'm used to manual lock hubs.
