4WD High not working but 4WD low works...???

    Taking my truck into the shop tomorrow to have them look at it - but curious if anyone has ever had this happen to them and any thoughts as to its cause?

    When I depress the 4WD button, it doesn't seem to engage 4WD nor does the dash light come on. However when I stop and put it in low it does engage. Not sure what's going on.

    Thanks for any help or advice.

    it was definitely 2WD low... I did enough crawling up and down to be sure about that.
