I have replaced the front diff actuator the transfer-case motor cv axles selector switch and the module on my 2008 Tacoma and the 4wd still wont go in. It will light up on the dash recognizing but still will not lock in. Any ideas on what else would be the cause of this issue?

There are several threads on this subject--I generally read them all because mine has acted up. I changed my pc a while back and failed to save the links. One suggestion was that limit switches (on the transfer case, I believe) could be at fault.

Good luck. If you find the cure, let the rest of us know.

AS Azreb says, dig through the forum. Some have fixed actuators in the driveway, otherwise can get $$$.

I had a rodent chew my wiring, not cheap.

OP, do you have a VOM meter and feel reasonably confident about using the thing? If so Ill send some diagnostic info to you.
