i wouldn't think so, but you could check the wires to see if they're getting power?

    Check out my build
It is possible and there is only one way to find out. It's mounted in the cluster so I cant see how tracing a wire back would help. Pulling out the gauges isn't all that tough of a job.

Absolutely. I took my instrument cluster out to replace one bulb and found 2 other bulbs out. My instrument cluster is now BRIGHT.

i cant swear to it, as i've only been a tacoma owner for a few months, and i'm a national truck driver, so i've driven it like 300mi since i bought it.

anyway, my 2008 Tacoma does a lightup of all dash warning lights/4wd lights (i think) on key startup. perhaps while it's got all the lights on next time look for the 4wd icon. if it's not lit up, then you know the bulb is out.
