    your rims/tires are not a mechanical issue in this case, i would not believe. many of us have ran tires 2-3" larger on a 3" lift w/o any issue.

    Its most likely not gearing then.

    only trouble I know of now is my clutch still smell like it is burning. other then seems fine wen shifting
