4wd on Dry Pavement??

For a 2011 Tacoma can you use H4 on dry pavement?

    I use it when I need it. Nowhere in the manual does it say to use 4wd on dry pavement, they recommend using it for 10 miles a month. You really don't accomplish anything by using it though, everything spins regardless, all you're doing is confirming that the ADD actuator still works.

    Best thing to do if you want to use 4wd for 10 miles each month is find a nice off road trail with a loose surface.

    Just be very careful in your turns, do not try to take any kind of turn at high speeds. I do it every month, since I do not get out to the dirt much anymore these days.
