I'm not sure, but I don't think they will even fit. The 2wd has a 5 lug right?
    Toytec site says,
Lift products will not fit Tacoma with 5 lug wheels

i have a modified lower control arm to accept eye shocks. the only difference in the shocks that i can tell in all my google research is that on the 2wd the spring goes to the lca, on the 4wd it goes to the spring pearch. plus the fact that 4wd have a top plate on the springs, i believe that with out mounting the top plate the shock is still the same. and in therory(mine of course) the 4wd will lift the 2wd truck. and for a much lower price than lift shocks. but with that being guessed then the lift shocks will super lift? i have no idea if this is true i am just trying to figure this all out.
